CCW - Amendments to Permit

IMPORTANT: Applicants cannot add or delete weapon(s) to a permit within 90 days of the issuance date of the permit or within 90 days prior to the permit expiring.

THE PROCESS: 

• Complete the application by clicking here to submit online

• Submit fee Online (Amending: Adding/Deleting firearms, Address change or Name change
• You will be contacted:
  • if there are any issues
  • to make an appointment for a thumbprint and to pick up your license

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT:

• Completed Carry Concealed Weapon License Amendment
  • Any firearms being added must be registered. This can be completed through the Attorney General website.
    ​

• If you are adding, dropping, or changing a weapon:

  • Written verification from a recognized firearms instructor that you can safely manipulate and fire each weapon, not on your current permit.
  • You will surrender your current CCW license at your appointment.
    ​

• If you are changing your address:

  • You have 10 days after you move to modify your CCW license with your new address
  • You will surrender your current CCW license at your appointment.​
     

• If you are changing your name:

  • Documentation indicating the name change
  • You will surrender your current CCW license at your appointment.
