Teen Health
The Mono County Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health program has identified the following priorities for Adolescents in the next 5 years (2020-2025) in response to the Community Health Needs Assessment/Improvement Plan:
-
Increase Oral Health awareness, knowledge, and self responsibility by developing positive, life-long oral health behaviors. Improve access and provide linkage to care to low-cost or free preventative dental care and treatment.
-
Improve Mental Health awareness, utilization of mental health services available and development of self care strategies among youth and children for life long mental health self-care.
-
Promote nutrition and physical activity for life long habits.
