Fee Updates

The Mono County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, increasing County fees. As a result, some of our fees will be  changed effective July 1, 2024. Please see our updated Fee Schedule below (Effective July 1, 2024) for these updated fees. 

MONO COUNTY RECORDING FEES

Letter Size: $14.00 for the first page & $3.00 for each additional page. 

Legal Size:  $17.00 for the first page & $6.00 for each additional page.  (If any one page is legal size, ALL pages are charged at the legal size rate.) 

All Deeds or other documents to transfer property MUST be accompanied by a Preliminary Change of Ownership Form ("PCOR") or a $20.00 additional fee will be charged.

Research: $125.00 per hour

Marriage Ceremony: $158.00

Marriage Certificate: $18.00

Death Certificate: $25.00

Birth Certificate: $31.00

Fictitious Business Name: $20.00
